Don't eat after 6:00

Eat your main dinner before 6:00. I know it will be difficult at first but the closer to 6:00 PM you eat the more likely you will get a drop in your sugar levels signaling time to go to bed.

I used to take this as a signal to grab a snack but now I use it as a signal to get a full nights sleep. When this occurs I can normally fall asleep pretty quickly.

When I get the grumbly stomach, where I feel a little empty I have a bout a 2 ounce serving of high quality protein. Either sliced skinless chicken breast or a couple small pieces of Filet.

Lean Protein, Grape fruit and Japanese green tea

Well as part of this eating experiment, Day 18 down 18 pounds I will report that I have had success with eating very lean protein.

I am eating white fish, sirloin steaks, and chicken breasts. I have spent a little more and purchased grass fed beef, wild fish and free range chicken.

Hopefully dodging the hormones that I normally get in these products is helping.


Grapefruit has been very helpful, my diet consists of two servings of fruit, either an apple or 1/2 of a grapefruit. I will mention that the grapefruits have made the weight loss a little easier. On both days I ate only grapefruit I lost 1/2 lb more.

The last note is that I have been drinking copious amounts of green Tea. This is freshly made Japanese green tea served over ice and sometimes with a squeeze of lemon. I think the caffeine helps to suppress my appetite and keep me from Sugar crashing.

Day 18 An apple a day

Well make it two apples a day. One in the morning and one in the evening. Organic.

Really helps curb the hunger. I have dropped 18 pounds and this is day 18.

Hurah.

I also drink Apple Cider Vinegar, Raw, unrefined three times a day with water followed by a baking soda gargle to save my teeth. Skin is seeming a little fresher and weight loss is not such a problem
